Health IT Workforce Competencies and Curriculum Assessment Tool
The Iowa e-Health Workforce & Education Workgroup has compiled a comprehensive list of Health IT Workforce Competencies and a Curriculum Assessment Tool as a resource to assist Health IT Educational Program Directors, Educational Curriculum Specialists, Workplace Trainers and others in similar positions assess their organization's current or proposed curriculum in the area of Health IT.
These materials are intended to serve as a starting point to begin discussions about what knowledge, attitudes and behaviors learners completing Health IT programs (Certificate or Credit) should demonstrate to be considered competent Health IT workers, how those skills should be taught and how learners should be evaluated.
