The Health Information Security and Privacy Collaboration (HISPC) has focused on electronic health information privacy and security across the nation.

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) is evaluating potential privacy and security protections for electronic health information exchange.  Here you will learn more about ONC’s efforts to develop and coordinate privacy policies that will encourage patient trust and participation in the adoption of electronic health records and health information exchange.
